I put together a Google Form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeStQDfVv3rU8AJIE8q… --- Hi everyone, Thanks for the waiting. The public beta is finally here. The iPhone’s form factor makes it a perfect companion for capturing quotes on the go and resurfacing words that resonate with us. At the same time, it’s not ideal for heavy file handling or long-running tasks. That’s why the iOS version isn’t a one-to-one copy of the macOS app. Instead, it’s designed as a capture device that’s always with you—and a gentle reminder that nudges you positively throughout the day. This is the very first release of Quotes for iOS, so bugs are to be expected. We’ve worked to make the interface as intuitive as possible, aiming for an experience that requires little to no documentation. Please explore, try out the workflows that suit you, and let us know what feels right and what doesn’t. If you are brave enough to install it, here's the link to the TestFlight: https://testflight.apple.com/join/1IvTkvMq A few important notes: - **Syncing:** TestFlight uses a separate environment from the production app. Sync will only work if you’re also running the TestFlight version of Quotes for macOS. You can get the TestFlight version here: [https://testflight.apple.com/join/1IvTkvMq](https://testflig… - **Backups:** Beta testing can carry risks for your data. Please back up your library first by exporting it as a CSV. - **Installing:** If you’re moving to the TestFlight macOS version, delete the App Store version by dragging it from your /Applications folder to the Trash, then install the TestFlight build. If you want to switch back later, delete the TestFlight version before reinstalling from the App Store. Your feedback—big or small—is invaluable. Thank you again for helping us shape Quotes.
Conan Chou, When I click the link, it says that the app does not accept more people to test the beta. Also, another doubt: here you just mention the the iOS version. This “iOS” also include the iPad or it is just the iPhone?
Conan Chou wow. Beta filled up fast!
Bocio: Thanks for the question. it will just be iOS for iPhone, no iPad support at the moment. But I'm open to iPad, it depends on the community.
hi Bocio instanttim, sorry for the inconvenience, due to some backend issue with the TestFlight, the link is not working. I put together a Google Form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeStQDfVv3rU8AJIE8q… I will add you all in once the system is back up.
Conan Chou Actually I use much more the iPad for study than the IPhone, so I would be very interested in an iPad Version. Also, I am already testing the IPhone Version, Thanks!
How is going the progress here? I can imagine the amount of work to make everything work seamless across all devices.
Bocio: Thanks for waiting. It’s running a bit behind my original schedule, mainly because iOS and macOS 26 introduced some unexpected SDK issues. The code is mostly done now, and we’re doing internal testing. After that, I’ll share the public beta link here. I really want to get it out before Apple’s new OS release—let’s see.
I'm really looking forward to it!
When would this feature be ready? It's a key factor for me to subscribe. Thanks
alexbermudez it will be in TestFlight in a couple of weeks. I will share a link in this thread for people who are willing to participate the test.
iOS and iPadOS versions are in the works. Undertaking a major architecture change, which can also help the macOS version for performance and stability.
Thank you! I’ll let you know as soon as the iOS public beta is open!
